A lot has happened - November 29th & More

Since so much has happened in the past 2 weeks, I am going to divide these up into mini segments.
November 29th was my last visit with Dr Henry. At that visit he told me that I was about 50% effaced and was dilated to about a 2. He tried to guess at Lexington's weight and guessed that at delivery he would be 8lbs 4 oz. He talked me through what would happen once I got to the hospital and how I would be prepped for surgery (c-section). He explained that even though I had my appointment scheduled for several months that depending upon his patient load, there was a good chance that Baby Lex would not actually be born until sometime afternoon possibly closer to 1, since he was most likely not going to get to the hospital until 12:30. That bummed me out, but I did appreciate him being honest and walking me through all the steps like my epidural. At my visit I still had only gained roughly 14lbs. This also made me happy. My blood pressure was a little higher than normal, but I attributed that to my lunch for the day, not to the possibility of my body gearing up, like I normally would have. Doc also put me on 4 hour work days for the rest of the week and had me off work starting Monday the 6th, the day before I was due to deliver.
I don't think people at work appreciated my extra time off, but I was having some HORRIBLE back pain and just couldn't seem to push through the day. It seriously felt like Lex had broken a rib, or was trying to spread them apart from lack of room. The same spot hurt every day and the only time I could get mild relief from it was if I chose not to wear a bra, not something acceptable in the work place. I did try to take one afternoon on Wednesday to get some Christmas shopping done, wrong idea. I went to 3 stores and was out maybe 3 hours and by the time I was done, I hurt so bad that I couldn't move. All I could do was go home and crawl up in bed. I decided that I was just going to have to do as much as I could online and finish up the last of it the few days before Christmas. I hate being out during that time.
On Thursday evening, I started having contractions, but because I do not have normal labor, I could not seem to get a good read on how far apart they were. From my best timing they were 8 - 9 minutes apart and lasting 1.5 minutes apiece. They continued through the weekend, but I was so afraid of Braxton Hicks that I didn't go anywhere to have it checked out. I was off on Monday and felt that I could visit my Dr Office then if they were still regular. Unfortunately, I ran out of time on Monday and never did get checked out.
Aaron had his band concert Monday evening at 7 but we needed to be at the school at 6:30 to get a seat and for Aaron to check in. I was trying to have dinner done before left. I had gotten up that morning and was going to help out a friend so I waited around for someone to stop by and pick something up before running to get my errands completed. Unfortunately, the person called me at the time they should have been at my house to tell me they were going to be late. I was so frustrated. I had so much still left to get done before d-day. Aaron they called right after and needed me to drop off something at school for him, no I was aggravated big time. I dropped off what he needed and tried to run my errands but as soon as I got to the store the girl called to tell me she was on her way to my house, -URRGGHHH. So I turned around, completed the favor, and went back to town to finish up what I needed to get done. Then I ran home to try to start on dinner. Unfortunately, I had wasted too much time and it was off to the concert we went.
We got home and had dinner. I stayed up and finished packing to get everything I needed for my stay away from home. Garrett went to be around 9:30, Aaron around 11, and Ben and I went to bed at roughly midnight.
